Hello! I’m Kris Kennedy, the founder of Kennedy Tax & Accounting, LLC, a dedicated CPA firm committed to providing affordable and personalized tax and bookkeeping services to individuals and small business owners in Newnan, GA, and beyond.

After receiving my Master’s Degree in Accounting, I began my accounting career in 2013 at Gross, Duke, Nelson, a small public accounting firm. There, I gained extensive experience working on individual, business, and nonprofit taxes and bookkeeping, and obtained my CPA license. My area of focus then transitioned to corporate accounting when I was hired as the accounting manager at TDK Components. Since 2017, I have been employed as the Finance Director at The Bedford School, a small not-for-profit private school for students with learning differences.

Prior to my accounting career, I dedicated four years to serving in the U.S. Navy. This experience instilled in me a strong work ethic, discipline, and a commitment to excellence—values that I bring to my professional practice every day.

I have called Newnan, Georgia, my home for the past 17 years. Living and working in Newnan has given me a deep understanding of the unique financial needs of our local community. I started Kennedy Tax & Accounting, LLC to be a reliable resource for those seeking expert accounting assistance at a reasonable cost. My goal is to ensure that every client feels valued and receives the attention they deserve.

Specializing in virtual accounting and tax preparation services, I utilize secure technology—including the TaxDome client portal—to assist clients both locally in Newnan and across the country. This platform allows for secure communication and document exchange, ensuring your sensitive financial information is protected while we work together remotely.

Outside of work, I am passionate about running and endurance sports and have participated in two marathons, several half marathons, and a few short triathlons. This dedication to endurance and perseverance mirrors my commitment to providing exceptional service to my clients.
